If you've never experience hypnotherapy, you might have several questions about hypnosis. What is hypnotherapy? Will I lose control? Think of hypnotherapy as an onion, we are peeling away your conscious thinking, from analyzing and overthinking, to really getting the answers that your subconscious, which is you beneath, wants to express to you. We do this by peeling the first layers to get to the core answers that already resides within you. I want to address firstly, that you will be in total control of your being. I cannot nor would I want to take that power away from you. In fact, in hypnotherapy I want to use this as a tool to help you embrace your control and power more within your life. Some of the feelings you might experience is that it might feel like you are daydreaming or between sleep and awake. It’s natural and safe. Unfortunately, social media is known to really exaggerate hypnosis in ways that are incorrect and totally false leading potential clients to deter its most effective benefits. Some benefits of hypnotherapy is that it can help people with fears, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, recalling past memories, building confidence, and so much more. Sometimes just getting to the root of the problem, and fixing it, for example addressing childhood trauma during hypnosis, can create a positive domino effect outside of hypnosis. Other proven benefits of this type of therapy is helping people with addictions and having more control about their success in their lives, like financially or having stronger relationships. A big role with hypnotherapy is learning to trust yourself again.
