Grave Yard

It was raining in a grave yard today
And I, the only one there
I was thinking what it’d be like
To be in your arms once again
It was raining blood on the earth today
And I, the only one who saw
I was thinking what it’d be like
To hear your laugh once again
It was raining through my eyes today
And you, the only one on my mind
You told me you’d be back
Though you were in a wooden box
A place you could not breathe
It was raining in a grave yard today
And you, alone and so cold
There was no laugh to be heard
No arms that I could hold
There are no smiles where you live
There will never be a day
Where I’ll see you grow old old
And somehow, they tell me
It will all be okay.
